Hispanic Cultural Center of Midland (HCCMidland) Founded in 1997 HCCMidland exists to preserve Hispanic culture, promote cultural awareness and enrich the lives of students by enhancing academic proficiency through education in the arts.

HCCMidland Accomplishments
HCCMidland initiated the first Mariachi Group in Midland "Mariachi Nueva Generacion" for students 7th grade and up; April 2000.
HCCMidland Presented the first Mariachi Workshop in Midland for students 7th grade and up; March 2002.
Hispanic Cultural Center Ballet Nuestra Herencia initiated a bridge to connect folklórico dancers to college; August 2007 to present.
HCCMidland Cinco de Mayo Celebration initiated a new prototype folklorico and cultural event to assist public school teachers with cultural education; May 2010.
HCCMidland was awarded a building for 50 years - a place the students can call home; June 2010.
